Valorization is any activity aimed at improving the conditions of knowledge and conservation of cultural heritage and increasing its public use., so as to convey the values that this heritage bears.
Protection is the exclusive competence of the State, which dictates the rules and issues the administrative measures necessary to guarantee it; the valorisation is carried out in a manner
rival between state and region, and also provides for the participation of private entities.

Item 6. Enhancement of cultural heritage
1. Enhancement consists in the exercise of functions and the regulation of activities aimed at promoting knowledge of cultural heritage and ensuring the best ones
conditions of use and public enjoyment of the heritage itself, also by people with disabilities, in order to promote the development of culture. That
also includes the promotion and support of cultural heritage conservation interventions. In reference to the landscape, the enhancement also includes the
redevelopment of compromised or degraded buildings and areas subject to protection, that is, the creation of new coherent and integrated landscape values.
2. The valorization is implemented in forms compatible with protection and such as not to jeopardize the needs.
3. The Republic favors and supports the participation of private subjects, individuals or associates, to the valorization of cultural heritage.a
